Was asked to take a look at a gaming machine that was not powering up, fans and leds on half the ram was illuminating however.
After Stripping it down to component parts, the CPU socket was found to have a pin bent and heatsink grease over the edge of the socket.
The heatsink grease was carefully removed with isopropyl alcohol, and the pin was straitened using a magnifying glass, light source and plastic needle.
The machine was re-assembled, BIOS configured for the water cooling and tested
